Is recruitHER only for women?

No, we happily accept people of all genders! recruitHER specializes in connecting tech companies with talent from underrepresented backgrounds and communities. In particular, our candidate pool is largely made up of women, men of color, the LGBTQIA community, people with disabilities, and veterans.

While our vision is to help the tech industry achieve gender balance by placing a special focus on women candidates, recruitHER does not exclude anyone from our candidate pool on the basis of sex or gender identity. Our doors are open to all and we do not tolerate or condone discrimination in any form. recruitHER offers equal opportunity in employment for all qualified persons and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, veteran status, disability unrelated to job requirements, genetic information, military service, or other protected status.

 

Where are you placing candidates? Which cities do you work in?

recruitHER is headquartered in Austin, Texas, but we place candidates with clients across the U.S. We have particularly strong candidate networks in Austin, San Francisco, Oakland, and Boston. Please contact us for further information on locations where we can help find and place candidates.

 

Do you offer remote work placements?

Yes, for our client companies who support remote positions, we make remote placements.

 

Can you place me in a part-time role or an internship?

At present, we are focused on full-time, permanent placements. We hope to explore internship and part-time/temp placement in the near future.

 

How can I get $1,000 for referring someone to recruitHER?

If you refer someone to us and they are hired through recruitHER within a year of registering with us, you’ll be eligible for a $1,000 bonus!

Note:  Do not use the candidate form to sign someone else up for our service — this is a violation of our terms and means you’ll be ineligible for bonuses indefinitely. Direct them to the candidate registration form and follow the directions below.

In order to receive credit for a referral:

1st: You must be registered as a recruitHER candidate through our candidate registration form — otherwise, we have no way to find you + deliver the bonus once your referred candidate is hired.

2nd: The person you’re referring must input your name in the referral section of the candidate registration form. You will be contacted about payment of the bonus 90 days after the date of the candidate’s hire.
